At this point in your player’s development, it’s decision time. Do they want to play in the NCAA?

If this is the goal, then it’s time for their training to hit another level.  To get a coveted scholarship to play in the NCAA your player needs to get bigger, faster, and stronger on and off the ice. Training at this age should focus on preparing them for the NCAA.

To give players the best chance to chase their dream and obtain an NCAA scholarship, they need to be in a comprehensive hockey training program focused on the same goals they are.

The Ignite Program has one goal

To help our players get bigger, faster, and stronger so they can play in the NCAA.

SPEED

Your player will have the opportunity to work with the best speed training coaches available.

SHOOTING

Players participate in specifically tailored small group sessions with the best coaches in the city.

STRENGTH

Our coaches help our players become bigger and ice faster using proper weight lifting techniques.

POSITIONAL WORK

Tailored training and techniques for specific positional skills such as defensemen and forwards. 

CONDITIONING

Players work on stamina to become as good at the end of the game as they are at the beginning.  

MENTAL PREP

At Ignite, we work with our players to develop the confidence and mindset of high-level players. 

NUTRITION PLANS

Getting bigger and stronger means having tailored nutrition plans paired with strength training.  

ACTIVE RECOVERY

Learn off-ice recovery techniques to help with balance, injury prevention, and being present in the moment.

TESTING

We track improvements in speed with and without the puck, body weight, body fat, and strength.

Steps to Apply for the Ignite Program

Once approved, our personally selected coaches work with our players to improve on and off the ice as leaders and players, so they train like they are in the NCAA.

What will my player learn during the Ignite program?

At this level, players face different challenges then they have in the past. Unfortunately, most hockey programs for this age group continue to focus on basic skills rather than focusing on the growth of the player.

Having observed the challenges many elite players face when they reach this level, Ignite has one goal: make your player bigger, stronger, faster so they can play in the NCAA.  

Ignite is NOT another skills camp. It’s an ice hockey training program for the next generation of players.

If your player is going to chase their dream, they need to prepare wisely. Our players launch from Ignite physically and mentally prepared for the NCAA, because they train like they are already there.
